One terrorist was killed and two others injured in intelligence-based operation (IBO) of security forces in Hoshab district of Balochistan, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said. The military’s media wing said on Thursday that an intense fire exchange took place between the Army troops and the terrorists during the operation. A terrorist identified as Ali Jan was killed while two others were injured in the operation. The ISPR said that weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from killed terrorists, who remained actively involved in multiple terrorist activities in the area including kidnapping and target killing of innocent civilians. “Sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area. Security Forces of Pakistan, in step with the nation, remain determined to thwart attempts of sabotaging peace and stability of Balochistan,” it added.
