The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) arrested a dangerous terrorist during an operation in Karachi on Tuesday, says in media reports. The CTD spokesman said that Qasim Rasheed alias Bilal Ganje, who belongs to banned group, was arrested from Patel Para area. The spokesman said that the accused was involved in the high-profile killings of renowned Qawwal Amjad Sabri, four Rangers jawans, two army personnel and four religious sect members. The accused MPA Raza Haider, who was recently released from jail, was also involved in the terror network, the spokesman added. The CTD recovered a hand grenade, pistol and explosive materials from the accused's possession. The accused was arrested during a major operation launched by the CTD in Karachi.
