A 14-year-old boy died of electrocution here near the petrol pump at Deewanawala Chowk,Emenabad Road, on Thursday. According to rescue-1122, Imran, son of Nazeer was collecting plastic and other waste when he came into contact with an exposed wire from a nearby electricity pole. The electric shock caused him to fall into a water-filled pit, where he died.The rescue team retrieved the body from the pit and handed it over to the family.
