Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon arrived in Pakistan on a two-day official visit at the invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Tajik president was received by Federal Commerce Minister Syed Naveed Qamar. A twenty-one gun salute was performed to honour the visiting dignitary and a contingent of guards presented a static guard of honour to the Tajik president. According to Foreign Affairs Ministry, during the visit, the two sides will exchange views on further strengthening bilateral cooperation in various areas.A number of bilateral agreements and MoUs are expected to be signed.
