Swat celebrates first women's cricket leagueBreaking

A women's cricket league was successfully organized for the first time in the history of Swat Valley of Malakand Division of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Deputy Commissioner Swat Dr. Qasim Ali Khan said that 27 players from across the district participated in the event. The first match was played between Mengura XI and Kabal XI teams, with Mengura XI winning by seven runs. Khan praised the women cricketers for their talent and determination, and said that they are pioneers of social change. He also called for more support and opportunities for women in sports.The match was organized on the special instructions of the Deputy Commissioner, and Assistant Commissioner Revenue Babuzi Luqman Khan, Assistant Commissioner Kabal Junaid Khan, Taekwondo International Gold Medalist Ayesha Ayaz, and others distributed trophies, certificates, and cash prizes among the athletes. Organizer Ayaz Naik thanked the district administration and organizers for their support, and expressed the hope that they will continue to promote sports and provide more opportunities to women players.
