Members of Parliament who were suspended after taking oath on certain seats have decided to personally approach the Supreme Court to contest their suspension. Previously, these National and Provincial Assembly members faced suspension by the Supreme Court following their oath-taking. According to sources, the affected members will individually file writ petitions in the Supreme Court. They plan to argue that the decision was made without providing them an opportunity to be heard. Consultations on the contents of the petitions have been completed, and the political parties have directed the members to proceed with the filings. On July 12, the Supreme Court of Pakistan issued a decisive ruling concerning the specific seats of the Sunni Ittehad Council. The Court annulled the earlier decision of the Peshawar High Court and the Election Commission, directing that these seats be allocated to the PTI.
