Three officials were injured in a suicide blast at a check post in Khyber district on Wednesday morning. According to the police, the suicide bomber rammed a car full of explosives into the Qam Akakhel Sarozey check post in Tirah valley of Khyber district, resulting in injuries to three personnel. The injured officials, Subedar Muhammad Israr, Sepoy Iftikhar and Sepoy Shafiq Narul, were shifted to a nearby hospital for medical attention. The initial reports suggest that the suicide bomber was targeting security forces at the check post. The blast caused significant damage to the check post and nearby vehicles. Security forces have cordoned off the area and launched an investigation into the incident.
