Several students and teachers were critically injured after a school van struck a footpath near I.I. Chandigarh road in Karachi early Monday morning. According to details, rescue sources informed that a school van hit a footpath due to brake failure, resulting in injuries to nearly 11 people, including children and teachers, private news channel reported. 

Several of the injured, including students and staff were critically hurt and immediately rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment. Authorities have initiated an investigation into the incident to determine the exact cause of the brake malfunction.
