Students of different educational institutions on Sunday held protest demonstration against Assistant Commissioner Pattoki Rana Amjad Mahmood over poor cleanliness system across the city. The protestors were of the opinion that the AC Pattoki spoiled Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif's slogan of clean Punjab. They said that the AC to hide his incompetence misled the authorities through photo sessions and reporting all well. Due to negligence and incompetency of Rana Amjad, there were piles of garbage in the Pattoki city which has exposed him poor performance, they added.

The protesting students said that the Sanitary Inspector as deployed several employees at AC’s residence but don’t care about the cleanliness of the city. They also raised question about cleanliness arrangements within and surrounding of the educational institutions including the Government Elementary School in Old Mandi creating problems for the students. They demanded of the Chief Secretary Punjab Zahid Akhtar Zaman and Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif to take notice of the situation and taking strict action against AC Pattoki for his negligence.
