Security and administrative inspections of police stations across Tank district are continuing in view of the prevailing security situation. In this regard, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) City Circle Sharifullah Khan conducted a surprise inspection of city police station and reviewed the overall security and administrative arrangements.
During the visit, he examined official records and various registers and directed the police officials to ensure their timely and proper completion. He also inspected the cleanliness of the police station, lock-up and other facilities, directing staff to further improve sanitation standards.
Security arrangements, including bunkers and other sensitive areas of the police station, were thoroughly checked. Police personnel were directed to remain alert and vigilant at all times and perform their duties with utmost responsibility. He also inspected the online FIR system and instructed officials to ensure the timely registration of FIRs and completion of all related procedures to facilitate citizens.
He further directed police personnel to treat complainants and visitors with courtesy, dignity and respect. Quoting the District Police Officer (DPO) Abdul Samad Khan, the police spokesman said said that no compromise would be made on security under the prevailing circumstances.
