Caretaker Federal Minister for Energy Muhammad Ali has said that the government is committed to evolve a comprehensive strategy to bring investment in energy sector. These views were expressed by him while talking to private TV channel on Wednesday. Muhammad Ali said, “We will try to reduce capacity payments in the power sector and efforts are being made to attract investment in exploring the oil and gas deposits.” Responding to a question about conservation of electricity, the minister said dialogue would be held with all traders to reduce use of electricity by closing shops before midnight.
