Federal Minister for Human Rights, Law & Parliamentary Affairs, Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar has said that the societal challenges need comprehensive policies and their implementation for their resolution. Speaking at an event titled ‘The Art of Parenting, highlighting critical social issues and emphasizing collective action for effective solutions,’ he stressed the need of effective implementation of the policies thus bridging the gap to effectively support families and children. Azam Nazeer Tarar said that in the realm of parenting, it was imperative for the government, civil society, and all stakeholders to collaborate. He acknowledged that raising children was a fundamental concern for every household, transcending economic disparities.

The minister human rights also addressed prevalent issues such as poverty, destitution, and child labor, which significantly impact the ability of families to provide proper upbringing and education to their children. He advocated for a shift towards robust family planning initiatives to mitigate these challenges effectively. “We must raise awareness among our populace about their role in fostering the proper upbringing of children,” he said while highlighting the importance of investing in children’s holistic development. Azam Nazeer Tarar emphasized that addressing these issues was crucial for ensuring a prosperous future for next generations. The minister reaffirmed his commitment to advancing policies and initiatives that promoted positive parenting practices and safeguard children’s rights across the country.
