Unknown gunmen shot dead a social welfare official in jurisdiction of Gul Bahar police station in Peshawar on Thursday. According to details, armed motorcyclists targeted the senior planning officer when he was on his way to the office in his official vehicle. The social welfare official was killed on the spot and the attackers managed to escape from the scene. The body was shifted to hospital and police after registering a case into the incident started investigations.
