Six bodies of unidentified men have been recovered from the Nasirabad area of Turbat in Balochistan, where they were found with gunshot wounds. Local police said efforts were under way to identify the victims. Officials also revealed that 12 people from Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had been abducted from Turbat three days earlier. Police authorities have not yet confirmed whether the recovered bodies are linked to the reported kidnappings.

Security forces had carried out several intelligence-based operations in the Nushki district of Balochistan. Following a fierce exchange of fire, eight members of Fitna-ul-Hindustan were killed. During the operations, security forces recovered and destroyed weapons, ammunition and improvised explosive devices allegedly used by the militants. Clearance operations remain under way to eliminate any Indian-sponsored militants believed to be active in the area.

Authorities said the counter-terrorism campaign would continue with full intensity under the "Determination of Stability" strategy approved by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan. They added that Pakistan's security forces and law enforcement agencies would continue operations until all foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism had been eliminated from the country.
