The Sindh government has announced the schedule for the release of matriculation and intermediate examination results across the province, confirming key dates for students awaiting their outcomes. According to the announcement, matric results will be released until 10 July, while intermediate results will be declared by 31 July. The decision was taken during a high-level meeting held in Karachi under the chairmanship of the provincial minister for universities and boards, Muhammad Ismail Rahu.
The meeting was attended by Secretary for Universities Muhammad Abbas Baloch and chairpersons of all educational boards across Sindh. Officials reviewed the overall conduct of the annual matric and intermediate examinations conducted across the province. During the briefing, all boards provided detailed updates on examination arrangements in their respective divisions. It was also stated that results for ninth and eleventh grades will be issued by 31 August.
Speaking on the occasion, Ismail Rahu said that matric results across all divisions of Sindh would be released by 10 July, while intermediate results would be finalised by 31 July. He stressed that timely announcement of results was necessary to facilitate students in securing admissions without delay. He added that the provincial government would continue to support examination boards to improve transparency, merit, and the overall examination system.
Officials further informed the meeting that in the Sukkur division, certain teams showing poor performance during examinations had their duties cancelled. Secretary Muhammad Abbas Baloch also noted that several cases were registered in Karachi over violations of Section 144 during the examination period. It was also shared that intermediate examinations in the Karachi division will conclude on 15 June.
