Information Minister Atta Tarar said on Thursday that the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) was established in a bid to uplift the country. Expressing his thoughts, Tarar underlined the potential of the country's youth. "68 percent of the population is composed of youth. The country's youth is the special asset of the country." The investment is coming from foreign countries through the SIFC. Few days back, Tarar said that the country was witnessing a decrease in inflation. Expressing his thoughts, Tarar said: "We will not have to ignore the country's economy for the sake of politics." "With the staff-level agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), there was an improvement in the stock exchange," he said. Tarar said: "The country's economy is witnessing improvement. It was a difficult decision to open LCs."
