Sialkot Police on Tuesday has issued a performance report of effective operations against criminal elements for the running month of October. According to the report, police seized 108,601 grams of hashish, 8,290 grams of ice, and 120 grams of heroin from the possession of 80 accused. They also recovered 219 liters of alcohol and 85 pistols and 6 rifles from the possession of 89 accused for air firing and display of weapons.

In addition, police registered cases against one-wheeling and arrested 9 one-wheelers. They also closed 24 unnumbered motorcycles and registered 59 cases against the kite mafia. Police recovered 467 kites and 7 chemical strings from the possession of these accused. District Police Officer (DPO) Sialkot Muhammad Hasan Iqbal praised the police force for their efforts in combating crime and maintaining law and order in the district.
