A shopkeeper was electrocuted in his shop in the area of Jhang Bazaar police station. A Rescue 1122 spokesman said that 35-year-old shopkeeper Irfan was busy cleaning his shop on Jhang Road near Lakkar Mandi when he accidentally touched electricity wires. As a result, he received a fatal electric shock and died on the spot. The body was handed over to his relatives for burial after completing necessary formalities, he added.
