SHO was martyred in firing by suspected robbers on Sukkur Road, National Highways.The martyred SHO has been identified as Ghulam Shah. According to police, the SHO and his team received a call that seven robbers were looting passengers after blocking the Sukkur Road.

A police team led by the SHO scrambled to the crime scene. To see the police approaching them, the bandits opened fire, leaving the SHO injured in a critical condition. He was rushed to a private hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The robbers fled the scene. Police launched a manhunt for the fleeing outlaws after corroding off the area.
