An SHO was killed while the bus conductor was seriously wounded after they fell from the moving vehicle in Narowal on Monday. According to reports, Ali Asghar, the SHO, and the conductor were standing close to the bus’s entrance when their feet slipped and both of them fell onto the road.  While the SHO died instantly after he was run over by the bus, the conductor received serious injuries.  Man seriously injured after bitten by jackal In another incident reported from Narowal, a 65-year-old farmer named Ali Asghar was seriously wounded after he was attacked by a jackal while he was working in the fields.

The man was rushed to District Headquarters Hospital. It merits mention here that for the last five days, monkeys too have become a headache for residents of the area, and even one person has been injured in their attack.   But to rub salt into their wounds, the Wildlife Department and the local administration have failed to catch these animals. Locals have appealed to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to take notice of their predicament.
