Sheikh Rasheed's May 9 case: Adiala Jail superintendent gets 'contempt of court' noticeBreaking

The court has issued the ‘contempt of court’ notice to  Adiala Jail superintendent during the hearing of Sheik Rasheed’s involvement in May 9 case. The anti-terrorism court’s Judge Malik Ijaz Asif heard the case against the former interior minister and president of Awami Muslim League Sheikh Rasheed. Sheikh Rasheed’s counsel had filed the petition against jail administration in contempt of court for not allowing to meet his client, Sheikh Rasheed. During the hearing, court ordered the superintendent Adiala Jail to present before the court till Jan 26 and also ordered the jail administration to present medical examination report of Sheikh Rasheed. Meanwhile, the court has summoned the investigation officers within two hours during the hearing of Sheikh Rasheed’s case.
