A rescue station inaugurated at Shah Shams Interchange M-5 on Bahawalpur Road has started function on Saturday. The station was inaugurated by District Emergency Officer Multan Dr. Kaleemullah and Chaudhry Zulfikar, owner of the private company that is supporting the initiative. The station will provide timely assistance services for accidents on the motorway and Bahawalpur Road. It will have an ambulance and fire tender along with trained staff present round the clock. Dr. Kaleemullah said that the rescue station is the need of the hour and will help in providing timely medical aid in case of any emergency. The inauguration of the rescue station is a welcome development and will provide much-needed relief to the people of Multan and Bahawalpur.
