Several policemen, including a Station House Officer (SHO), were injured in an attack in Samba district of  Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. According to Kashmir Media Service, a police team was attacked during a raid on a house in the Balole Khad  of Bari Brahmana area of the district.  The police men, including the SHO, were injured after they came under attack during the raid.

The injured were moved to an Indian army hospital in Amritsar for treatment. The police statement claimed that a police team visited the Balole Khad area last night in the pursuit of some criminals. However, the team was attacked, leaving several cops, including the SHO injured. An official said the area was cordoned off by the police to nab the attackers.
