Several flights scheduled to depart from Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport (JIAP) for the Middle Eastern countries were cancelled on Monday due to regional tensions. An Emirates Airline flight PK-609 was cancelled. The flight was scheduled to land in Dubai. Two Qatar Airways flights, QR-605 and QR-611, were cancelled. These flights were scheduled to depart from Karachi for Doha.
Three flights of Flydubai FZ-299, 297, and 334 were cancelled. These flights were scheduled to take off for Dubai from Karachi. An Etihad Airways flight EY-293 was cancelled. The flight was scheduled to depart from Karachi for Abu Dhabi. An Air Arabiya flight G9-543 was cancelled. The flight was scheduled t o land in Sharjah from Karachi. An Oman Air flight WY-324 was cancelled.
The flight was scheduled to land in Muscat from Karachi. Six domestic flights were cancelled due to Afghan aggression. An Air Sial flight PF-143, was cancelled. The flight was scheduled to land at Allama Iqbal International Airport (AIIA) in Lahore from Karachi.
