At least seven people have been killed and ten others injured as intermittent rains caused houses to collapse in Kohat, Abbottabad and Nowshera districts.According to initial police reports on Monday, in a village of Kohat, the roof of a house collapsed, killing two children and seriously injuring two individuals. Rescue teams promptly arrived at the scene and began relief operations.In a separate incident in Nowshera’s Bara Banda area, the roof of a mud house collapsed, trapping four people including two women and two men under the debris.
Rescue teams managed to safely retrieve all individuals, provided first aid and shifted them to a nearby hospital.Meanwhile, in Abbottabad, heavy rainfall caused another house to collapse in the Hajia Gali area. Five people, including three children, lost their lives after being buried under the rubble, while four others sustained injuries.Local police and residents worked together to recover the bodies and transport the injured to medical facilities.
