The Senate session commenced at 10:50 am here on Friday at the Parliament House, Senator Sherry Rehman in the Chair.  The agenda for the day included the Question Hour, motions, and presentation of reports of the various committees, introduction of bills, legislative business and calling attention notices.

Earlier, the Secretary of the Senate announced the panel of chairpersons to act as presiding officers in the absence of Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Senate for the 357th session.  Senators Sherry Rehman, Pervaiz Rasheed and Amir Waliuddin Chishti had been designated as Presiding Officers for the ongoing session. The announcement was made in view of the absence of both the Chairman and Deputy Chairman Senate.
