Senate offers fateha for martyrs of recent acts of terrorismBreaking

Senate began its session at the Parliament House in Islamabad on Thursday with Deputy Chairman Syedaal Khan Nasar in the chair. At the outset of the session, the House offered fateha for those martyred in recent acts of terrorism in the country.The Senate passed The Special Technology Zones Authority Amendment Bill, 2025. It was moved by Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar. The chair also referred the Civil Courts Amendment Bill 2025 and Pakistan Coast Guards Amendment Bill, 2025 to the standing committees concerned. 

The Senate was informed that the number of centers for the treatment of HIV has increased from forty-nine to ninety-four over the past four years. Responding to a Calling Attention Notice, Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar stated that these centers are providing free screening and treatment. The Law Minister also mentioned that awareness campaigns are being organized to effectively combat the disease.
