Seminar critically examines issues of Indian foreign policy doctrine, different state narrativesBreaking

The Department of International Relations of MY University, Islamabad, in collaboration with the Youth Forum for Kashmir (YFK), organized a seminar "Operation Bunyanum Marsoos: Analyzing India’s False Flag Operations and Human Rights Violations in IIOJK.”  The seminar was addressed by prominent scholars, diplomats and defence analysts.  The main speakers were former AJK president Sardar Masood Khan, Prof.

Dr Jameel Ahmed, Vice Chancellor of MY University, Islamabad, Ghulam Muhammad Safi, Convener of APHC-AJK, Dr Khurram Iqbal, Associate Professor, QAU, Zaman Bajwa, Executive Director of YFK, Air Vice Marshal Prof. Dr. Shamim Beg, Dean, Faculty of Basic and Applied Science, MY University, Pro. Dr Muhammad Munir, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences, MY University, and Dr Waseem Khokhar, Head of Department of International Relations, MY University, Islamabad. 

The seminar focused on the evolving human rights situation in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), regional security narratives, and the strategic dimensions of operation Bunyanum Marsoos to engage students, researchers, and faculty members in an informed academic discussion.  The event critically examined issues of Indian foreign policy doctrine in the context of Hindutva, different state narratives, alleged false flag operations, and their implications under international law and global diplomacy.  

The seminar also commemorated the first anniversary of Operation Bunyanum Marsoos in accordance with the directives of the Higher Education Commission Pakistan, recognizing national resilience and the contributions of Pakistan’s armed forces toward regional stability and national defense. Dr. Khurram Iqbal discussed the policy doctrines of the Bharatiya Janata Party and their implications for regional politics and the Kashmir dispute.  

Sardar Masood Khan elaborated on the implications of Operation Sindoor within the broader framework of regional diplomacy and international strategic discourse. He further emphasized the importance of diplomatic engagement, narrative building, and international awareness regarding the Kashmir issue.
