Security forces foiled a major smuggling bid and recovered cache of smuggled goods, Iranian oil and others items. According to details, the security forces during search of a suspected container at Kalat-Quetta picket recovered huge cache of smuggled items. The recovered smuggled items included 400 tyres of vehicles, 250 bundles of clothe, 500 blankets, utensils, Iranian petrol, spares parts of vehicles, gutka, betel nuts and cigarettes. The seized smuggled goods would be handed over to custom department. With the support of the security forces, Kuntani and Jeevani areas have been cleared of smugglers.
