The new week began with further gains for the Pakistani Rupee against the United States dollar, continuing gains from recent weeks. The rupee lost 13 paisas against the US dollar in the opening hours of trading to fall to Rs278 in the interbank trade. On the other hand, the Pakistan Stock Exchange also began the week on a positive note, gaining 250 points in the opening session. The morning’s rally took the PSX 100-index to 65,400 points.
