Rubina Khalid visits BISP centre in ParoaBreaking

Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Chairperson Rubina Khalid on Friday visited a Programme's centre in Paroa tehsil of Dera Ismail Khan and reviewed facilities being provided to beneficiaries.On the occasion, she was accompanied by Chairman of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Defence Sardar Fatehullah Khan Miankhel, MNA Naima Kanwal and Members of the Provincial Assembly Ashbar Jadoon, Meher Sultana and Shazia Tahmash.

Upon arrival, the delegation was received by BISP Zonal Head Fazal Zeeshan and Deputy Director Arif Kundi. Local political leaders and area elders, including Malik Farhan Afzal Dhap, Zafar Mahra, Malik Farooq Paroa, Zafar Ali Khan Gandapur and Sardar Sailani Khan Baloch, also welcomed the guests. Assistant Director BISP Rehan Baloch briefed the chairperson and accompanying officials about the programme’s ongoing activities and performance in Paroa tehsil. 

During the visit, Rubina Khalid interacted with women present at the centre, listened to their concerns and reviewed the transparency and quality of facilities being provided to beneficiaries. She said that efforts were being made to resolve issues within the programme and added that the number of Benazir Nashonuma centres would also be increased in Paroa and several other areas to improve access to services for deserving families.
