Armed robbers gunned down a citizen upon resistance during a robbery in a house Ahmedpur police station jurisdiction, police said on Tuesday. According to details, three robbers barged into residential house and started looting valuables taking the family members hostage at gunpoint. Upon resistance, the robbers shot dead a 50-year-old man and fled with looted cash, jewelry and other valuables. DPO and other high police officials upon getting information reached the scene of crime and collected evidences.The body was shifted to hospital for postmortem and police after registering a case into the incident started an investigation.
