Armed robbers snatched thousands of rupees cash and two precious cell phones from two citizens here on Wednesday, police said. According to details, robbers riding a motorcycle intercepted two motorcycle riding citizens on 2-4/L road, A Division police station jurisdiction on Okara. The robbers snatched Rs43,000 cash and two precious cell phones from Adil and Zain and sped the scene. The police registered a case into the incident started search for the robbers. Surge in robberies in suburban area of Okara has increased the worries of citizens as police fail to arrest any of the culprits and they have demanded of the high authorities of taking notice.
