A 52-year-old man, was shot dead by robbers in the jurisdiction of Madina Town police station Faisalabad on Wednesday. According to the media reports, the tragic incident took place in Gatwala area where 52-year-old Younas was shot dead by the robbers. The deceased was on his way back to home on a motorbike after offering a funeral when he was intercepted by the gun-totting people. As the motorcylist resisted the robbery attempt, the suspects opened fire. The dead body was later shifted to a hospital for further legal procedure. Faisalabad Regional Police Officer (RPO) Dr Abid and City Police Officer (CPO) Usman Akram took notice of the murder while seeking report from the Madina Town SP. The RPO and the CPO directed to arrest the culprits at the earliest.
