A robber was killed while his accomplices managed to escape after exchange of fire with police in Saeedabad locality of Sukkur on Friday. According to details, a gang of four robbers was present in the locality for conducting robbery when on a tip-off, the police launched crackdown. Upon sight of police, the robbers started firing which led to an encounter. SSP Sukkur Irfan Samo said that one robber was killed while his three accomplices managed to flee. Arms were recovered from possession of killed robber whose identity could not be confirmed.
