A youngster was shot dead on resisting during the robbery, while a robber also lost his life by the bullet of his accomplice in Bahawalnagar on Tuesday. Police said Zaheer was traveling with his family when some robbers confronted him. The youngster retaliated against the robbers who shot him fatally. However, one of the suspects was also killed by the firing of his accomplice amid a chaotic situation. Zaheer succumbed to his injuries on the spot. Upon being informed, a heavy police contingent arrived at the scene. Police shifted the bodies for further legal proceedings. The police said the incident would be thoroughly investigated.
