One robber was killed and another critically injured in firing of accomplices while two managed to escape during a robbery here on Tuesday. The police approached four-member gang of robbers engaged in picket looting at Adhan road Saddar police station jurisdiction signaled to stop a car. However, the car driver sped after which robbers started firing. One robber identified as Zaheer was killed while Faisal was critically injured in firing of their own accomplices who managed to flee from the scene. The body and injured robber hailing from Gandhian Chunnian were shifted to hospital and police after registering a case into the incident started investigation.
