A man was gunned down by armed robbers after he resistance during a robbery here on Tuesday. According to details, robbers riding a motorcycle intercepted a couple in jurisdiction of Dhale police station in Gujranwala and attempted to snatch jewelry the woman was wearing. Husband Zakriya showed resistance over which robbers shot him dead and fled with looted jewelry and cash. The body was shifted to hospital for postmortem and police after registering a case into the incident started investigations.
