Rivers flows, reservoirs level report issuedBreaking

The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages on Friday is as under: Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 132100 cusecs and Outflows 120000 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 21900 cusecs and Outflows 21900 cusecs, Khairabad Bridge: Inflows 114400 cusecs and Outflow 114400, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 14600 cusecs and Outflows 40000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 63500 cusecs and Outflows 32900 cusecs.

 Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 139700 cusecs and Outflows 131700 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows: 141100 cusecs and Outflows 145000 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 141600 cusecs and Outflows 124000 cusecs, Guddu: Inflows 131700 cusecs and Outflows 100600 cusecs Sukkur: Inflows 98200 cusecs and Outflows 46300 cusecs Kotri: Inflows 42000 cusecs and Outflows 800 cusecs Trimmu: Inflows 20900 cusecs and Outflow 5300 cusecs Panjnad: Inflows 18100 cusecs and Outflows 800 cusecs.

 Reservoirs (Level and Storage): Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1402 feet, present level 1545.43 feet, maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 5.546 MAF. Mangla: Minimum operating level 1050 feet, present level 1236.05 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 6.887 MAF. Chashma: Minimum operating level 638.15 feet, present level 644.10 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.102 MAF. The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela, Jinnah and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
