Rescue 1122 responds to 833 emergencies over last monthBreaking

Rescue 1122 Lakki Marwat has released its performance report for April 2026, highlighting its response to hundreds of emergencies and efforts to save valuable lives during the past month.According to a Rescue 1122 spokesperson, the report was compiled under the directives of Director General Rescue 1122 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shah Fahad and Director Operations South Region Arif Khattak and under the supervision of District Emergency Officer Bilal Afridi.

The report states that a total of 13,587 calls were received during April, including 6,738 fake calls and 6,016 informational calls. It shows that rescue teams responded to 833 emergencies, including 665 medical cases, 91 road traffic accidents, 8 fire incidents, 30 cases of fights and gunshot injuries, and 34 recovery operations.Rescue personnel provided first aidand shifted 798 patients safely to hospitals.

However, 25 individuals succumbed to their injuries at the scene. The report further highlights the performance regarding referral service, which responded to 214 emergencies and facilitated the transfer of 229 patients.Among them, 37 patients were shifted within the district from one tehsil to another, while 177 patients were transferred from one district to another.
