Rescue 1122 responds to 145 emergencies in a weekBreaking

Rescue 1122 Lakki Marwat responded to 145 emergencies during the past week, providing timely emergency services and medical assistance to residents across the district. According to the weekly report issued here on Monday, the emergency service operated under the directives of Director General Rescue 1122 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Shah Fahad and Director Operations South Region Muhammad Arif Khattak, with District Emergency Officer Bilal Afridi supervising rescue operations.

During the reporting period, Rescue 1122 received a total of 2,846 calls, including 1,427 fake or unnecessary calls and 1,268 informational calls. The report stated that rescue teams responded to 123 medical emergencies, 16 road traffic accidents, five incidents involving fights and gunshot injuries, and two fire incidents. A total of 145 patients were safely shifted to hospitals, while several others received first aid and emergency medical treatment at the scene.

Rescue 1122 also continued its inter-district referral service, responding to 34 referral emergencies during the week. Of these, nine patients were transported within the district, while 25 patients were shifted to hospitals in other districts. Overall, 35 patients benefited from the referral service during the period.
