The district emergency service Rescue 1122 here on Wednesday organized a three-day training workshop for the staff of Alkhidmat Foundation and Aghosh Center. The training wing of the rescue service educated the participants through practical demonstration as to how to act when they met various emergencies and taught them various techniques for controlling bleeding, performing CPR, managing fractures and shifting patients from one place to another during emergencies. A spokesperson for Rescue 1122 said it is essential for every individual to be trained for a safe society and quick response to accidents. He said that Rescue 1122 was playing a crucial role in this regard, and through such training workshops, different segments of society were being equipped with the skills to handle emergencies.
