In adherence to the directives of the Divisional Intelligence Committee, a task force conducted raids on four site offices in Chakri main stop, Mouz Rajar, Main Chahan Bazar, and Sangral near Milo Mor (Jarar Camp), Mouz Raja, and Sangral Tehsil Rawalpindi. The operation targeted the illegal housing scheme, Khayaban Iftikhar, leading to the removal of promotional pina-flexes. Commissioner Rawalpindi Division, Liaquat Ali Chatta, alongside Director General RDA, Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi, and CPO Rawalpindi, was overseeing the operation against illegal housing societies. DGRDA Mohammad Saif Anwar Jappa stated that the grand operation, guided by Commissioner Rawalpindi's instructions, aims to curb fraud in illegal housing schemes and protect citizens from exploitation. The move comes in response to public complaints about the illegal occupation by owners of such housing schemes.

Stringent action is promised against those resorting to forceful land occupation. Legal possession has been granted to owners of housing schemes with completed legal documentation, and the RDA regularly issues press releases for public awareness. Citizens are urged not to invest in illegal housing schemes and advised to refer to the RDA website (www.rda.gop.pk) for approved housing schemes. Earlier notices were served to owners and sponsors of these housing schemes, instructing them to cease illegal advertisements, bookings, and development. The operation team, including Assistant Director Planning Mehwish Naseem, police teams from Chontra Rawalpindi and Wah Chakri police stations, RDA scheme and building inspectors, district council inspector, representatives of district administration, and other team members jointly executed the extensive operation.
