The Met Office said that the rainy system will be active in the country until tomorrow. According to the report, the temperature was also decreased across the country due to recent rains. The Met Office also predicted more rain in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit, and Baltistan.
Recent rains in Islamabad turned the weather of Pakistan’s capital pleasant. The Met Office predicted more rain with lightning and thunderstorms during the daytime. The temperature in the morning was recorded at 14 degrees Celsius and is expected to reach 20 degrees Celsius.
The winds are blowing in the city at a speed of 85 percent, with moisture in the air recorded at 85 percent. Severe rainfall across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa caused widespread disruption, particularly in Bajaur and Chitral, where roads, bridges, and homes were damaged.
According to details, heavy and continuous downpours created significant challenges for local communities, leaving many residents struggling to cope with the situation. In response, Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa North personnel promptly reached the affected areas and launched rescue operations.
They safely evacuated civilians to secure locations and provided essential supplies, including food, clean drinking water, and other necessities. Residents appreciated the swift response and dedication shown by FC personnel during this difficult time.
The efforts once again demonstrated that security forces remain committed not only to defending the country but also to supporting and protecting the well-being of its people during emergencies.
