In the month of Ramadan, the citizens of Quetta could not get relief contrary to the claims of the district administration as essential items are being sold at higher prices even in the open market. A few stalls were established in the name of Ramzan Sasta Barar for the welfare of the people and at these stalls, there is a shortage of food items and the prices are higher than the open market. Several citizens complain about the quality of goods available in the sasta Ramazan markets. The citizens urged the government to activate the price control committees to control the inflated prices instead.
