Additional Assistant Commissioner Bahrain, Swat Ahmad Sher paid a surprise visit to the bazaar and checked the quality and prices of food items. According to the district administration Swat, the Additional Assistant Commissioner reviewed the availability of basic food items such as flour, oil, ghee, rice, pulses, vegetables, meat, poultry, and bread at official rates for consumers and tourists. He informed shopkeepers and hotel owners about the provincial government's clear instructions and emphasized strict adherence to the officially prescribed rates. He also directed that price lists be displayed prominently at their shops. In case of overcharging customers, he said strict legal action would be taken against violators.
