February 18, 2026

In a powerful celebration of corporate compassion and responsible business, over 70 organisations — including eminent national companies and multinationals — were honoured at the 18th Annual CSR Awards for their extraordinary contributions to community uplift, philanthropy, charitable initiatives, sustainable business practices, and environmental protection.

The awards were jointly presented by Federal Minister for Investment Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi at a prestigious ceremony organised by the National Forum for Environment and Health, bringing together leading voices from government, business, and development sectors under one roof.

Addressing the gathering as the chief guest, Governor Faisal Karim Kundi said that nearly one million women across the country are currently benefiting from the Benazir Income Support Programme, noting that the number should gradually decline as poverty reduces and economic opportunities expand. He recalled that governments led by the Pakistan Peoples Party had initiated landmark steps for women’s empowerment, including the establishment of First Women Bank Ltd and women police stations to enhance gender equality and social justice.

Presiding over the ceremony, Federal Minister for Investment Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh highlighted that Corporate Social Responsibility has evolved into a core component of modern business strategy. He said investment today is no longer measured solely through economic indicators but also by its impact on livelihoods, employment generation, poverty reduction, and social stability.
