Member Provincial Assembly(MPA) of Pakistan Muslim League-N and Chairman Zakat and Ushr Council Rana Munawar Ghous Khan said Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister(CM) Maryam Nawaz was utilizing all the available resources for development of the province and welfare of the masses. 

He said this while inspecting the construction of drainage channel established for draining out the hills polluted stagnant water at Chak no.126 SB on Wednesday. On the occasion, XEN Drainage Muhammad Umair and Director Mines Nauman Azam were also present during the inspection visit. The Chairman Zakat and Ushr Council Rana Munawar Ghous said the construction cost of drainage channel was estimated Rs.40 million. 

He said that drainage project to drain out the stagnant water from surrounding hilly areas Chak no.126-SB,128-SB,123-SB,127-SB, 131-SB and 134-SB and nearby villages and put into Saem Nala,aiming to ease water logging and improve working conditions for local residents. Rana Munawar Ghous Khan said once the drainage system becomes operational,it would significantly reduce standing water in the area, making it easier for laborers and residents to carry out daily activities.
