The Punjab government has announced a fresh reshuffle in the provincial bureaucracy, issuing notifications for the appointments and transfers of several senior officers. According to the notification, the posting of Muhammad Umar Masood as Secretary Agriculture has been cancelled. Shakeel Ahmed Mian has been appointed as the new Secretary Agriculture, Punjab.

Former Lahore Commissioner Zaid Bin Maqsood has been posted as Secretary Local Government, while Dr Nasir Bashir has been appointed Secretary Implementation and Coordination, Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD). In addition, Muzaffar Khan has been appointed Secretary Archives and Libraries, while Syed Masood Nauman has been posted as a Member of the Board of Revenue.
