The Punjab Police arrested 45 drug peddlers and recovered huge quantity of narcotics during separate actions in different cities. During a crackdown in Gujranwala, 12 drug pushers were apprehended with narcotics. In operations conducted in Arifwala, 33 individuals involved in drugs business were detained and drugs were recovered from their possession. Separate cases were registered against the detainees and raids against drug peddlers were underway.
